“Photography enables me to produce images concerned with two aspects of observation, vivid colour and the diversity that both natural and artificial light provide. My photographs add importance to isolated or specific areas of a greater subject” Tess Zahn

Tess Zahn is a Brighton-based photographer, born in London and of Greek and German descent. After completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1997, Tess pursued her passion for photography even though her work until that point had been more sculpture and installation-based.

After spending some time overseas, Tess began exhibiting professionally in 2001 at various Galleries both locally and nationally. Tess has been said to be one of Brighton's top female photographic artists and is currently undergoing a Masters degree in Photography which she will complete in September 2008.

Using her unique and personal approach she exhibits her new works when she can, teaches dark room photography to International Foundation Art students plus successfully adapts her skills for weddings, portraits/headshots, live events and commercial commissions.
